バーチャルリノベーション：清澄白河（東京都現代美術館, 2023）
"Virtual Renovation" MOT Annual Extra @ Modern Contemporary Art Tokyo, 2023
物質として存在せずともMRグラス越しに見える壁があればそれは建築の一部と考え、バーチャルな壁で実空間の意味を読み替えさせる“リノベーション”を構想した。人とバーチャル壁のインタラクションに注目し、「ツンデレする壁」「笑う欄間」等を設計。本作品は元々2035年の渋谷を敷地とした都市構想としてデザインされ、2023年に東京都現代美術館の企画展「MOT Annual Extra」で展示され、そこで既存空間をリノベするデモを実装した。

Even if a wall does not physically exist, if it can be seen through MR glasses, it can still be considered part of architecture. Based on this idea, I conceived a form of “renovation” that reinterprets the meaning of physical space through virtual walls.
Focusing on the interaction between people and virtual walls, I designed elements such as “Tsundere Walls” and “Laughing Transoms.”
Originally conceived as an urban vision set in Shibuya in the year 2035, this project was exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (MOT) in 2023, where a demo implementation demonstrated how existing spaces could be virtually renovated.
