ARを用いた研究発表「研究と提案のセレクトショップ」
"Select Your Lifestyle" @Yurakucho Micro Food & Market, 2020
コロナ禍直後のカフェにて、空間になじむ形で東京大学野城研の空間利用に関する研究成果を発表すべく、論文に代わる新たな発表ツールを製作した。コンセプトは研究と提案のセレクトショップで、研究の書かれたグラフィックが布に描かれてハンガーにかかっており、それを選んで隣の仕立て台のような机におきスマホをかざすと、その内容を立体的かつアニメーションを伴って説明するARコンテンツが視聴できる。これにより観てほしい視点などを直感的に来場者に共有でき、模型や図面とも異なるまちづくりのための対話の場を設えた。成果は日本建築学会で若手優秀発表賞を受賞した。

In a café immediately after the COVID-19 pandemic, I created a new presentation tool to showcase the University of Tokyo’s Yashiro Laboratory’s research on spatial utilization in a way that blended naturally with the surrounding environment—serving as an alternative to a traditional academic paper.
The concept was a “select shop for research and proposals.” Graphics containing research findings were printed on fabric and hung on clothing racks. Visitors could select a piece, place it on a tailor’s table-like desk, and view AR content that presented the research in three dimensions with animations by scanning it with a smartphone.
This format allowed viewers to intuitively grasp the intended perspectives of the research and fostered a new type of dialogue for urban design—distinct from conventional models or drawings.
The project was awarded the Young Presentation Excellence Award by the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ).
